The Head Thorac back protector is a classic light weight unit that is easy to use.  It automatically aligns itself to your back so that you can hardly even tell your wearing it.  You can fine tune its fit by using the double power belt and the new connector straps make sure the Thorac unit stays in place with every move.  You can wear it over your first layer and over fleece too.
